2008 11U Team

After a difficult opening stretch, the 11’s made a trip to the Baseball Heaven Tournament in Long Island, NY. It was at this tournament where the team really came together and started playing outstanding baseball. A respectable 3rd place finish at this tournament would give the team a great deal of confidence going in to the Massachusetts State AAU Tournament. Not many people thought these kids could have topped there run in Long Island. However, after an opening game win of the top ranked team, people started singing a different tune. After a few more hard fought victories, our boys found themselves in the Championship game. Although they came up a little bit short, we came in 2nd place in the State. This is one heck of an accomplishment. We look to build off that run during the 2009 season!

2008 10U Team

RBA's 2008 10U team had a final record of 30-4 and came in 2nd in the highly competitive 10 year old New England division (Silver Medal). They also won the Memorial Day weekend championship tournament at the Duquette Sports Academy. These hard working players and knowledgable coaches, led by team manager Jack Hall, proved that winter indoor offseason practices paves the way for success in the Spring!
