Royals Baseball Academy (RBA) was established six years ago for the sole purpose of teaching and developing baseball players. The 2009/2010 indoor season begins our seventh year of baseball training and travel team/AAU programs.

The principal factor to our success and growth over the past six years has been because of our method of teaching the game of baseball to all our players. We expect a lot and we demand a lot. The results are increased player improvement. Through our innovative drill work and our knowledge of pro baseball instructional techniques, we reinforce the fundamentals of the game while attaining skill improvement that ready our players to compete during game conditions.

RBA has the following programs that should interest any serious player focused on improving their game:

2010 Travel Teams Baseball Program
Royals Baseball Academy will field travel baseball teams in seven age groups: 10& U, 11&U, 12&U, 13&U, 14&U, 15&U and 16&U. The player’s age as of May 1, 2010 determines the age of the team your son qualifies for in tryouts. See our 2010 Season Tryout Schedule page for details on team tryouts.

Private Lessons
Private lessons are available on a limited basis, for $35 per half hour session, in hitting, catcher position and pitching. Scheduling lessons must be done in advance via email or telephone call to RBA.

Batting Cage/Bullpen Rentals
RBA batting cages and bullpens are available for rentals beginning in November through to April at $35 per half hour time slot. Scheduling rentals must be done in advance via email or telephone call to RBA.

Instructional Clinics
Special clinics are scheduled during the off season and will be announced via our Home page under “RBA Academy News”.
