Royals Baseball Academy Reopens for it's 6th year of Baseball Clinics, Training, Instructional Sessions and Travel/AAU Teams.

During the 2009 baseball season, our 6th year of operations, Royals Baseball Academy (RBA) will field travel baseball teams in seven age groups: 10& U, 11&U, 12&U, 13&U, 14&U, 15&U and 16&U. The player’s age as of May 1, 2009 determines the age of the team your son qualifies for in tryouts.

Please read the various pages on our 2008-2009 web site for a better understanding of the tryout schedule, indoor practices, performance training and playing for RBA in general.

Our 2008-2009 season will begin with outdoor tryouts in September for our 2009 travel team/AAU teams. Once the teams are selected an organizational meeting will be conducted in mid October to review administrative matters, indoor baseball practice schedules, performance training workouts, etc.

The 2008-2009 indoor home of RBA will be located at Think Fast Athletics, 65 Sharp St., Hingham, Massachusetts. This facility will serve as our temporary home for the winter indoor season. Although smaller than our facility for the past five years, we will have 24/7 access for all our team practices, performance training workouts, private lessons, cage rentals, etc. Our long term plan is to have a new facility in the Abington area with dimensions 80 feet wide and 200 feet long by the Fall, 2009.
