Royals Baseball Ends 5th Year of the Winter Indoor Season - RBA closed for the 2007-2008 Winter indoor season on Saturday April, 19, 2008. Special thanks to over 150 players, coaches and families that supported us again for our 5th year of operations.

We bid farewell to our home for the last 5 years as the conversion of the turf into an ice rink has begun. We thank the ownership of the Mass Sports Club/Bavis Rink for allowing us to use the turf as an indoor baseball field for the last 5 years. This type of indoor baseball model certainly has proved that it can work and that the players benefit greatly from the throwing and fielding as well as, of course, live BP hitting and pitching. None of this could have worked without the financial support of our families and the dedicated baseball team managers and instructors.

Plans are underway for an Abington/Weymouth area indoor facility that will be primarily for baseball. Meanwhile, stay tuned for more information on the location of our facility for the 2008-2009 winter indoor season.
